Cycling in Bhutan

Steep mountain climbs, deep downhill lanes, falling rocks, frequently sinking highways, thick air...the Bhutanese terrain makes it almost impossible for cycling. But,for the cyclist with a penchant for adventure and for a slow, meditative liking for the soulful travel, the country has everything...pure calm air, refreshing vegetation, cool Himalayan breeze with the scent of apple and pine, easy easy surroundings. Wild herbs with surprise flowers even on the verge of Winter.
But it's not easy to find bicycles on the sleepy roads of Bhutan. And renting one would cost you a fortune.
